Thomas's Page

Hi! I'm Tom. Well, more often Thomas, but when Sarah's aggravated with me its "Thomas Daniel Hersman". Where do I begin? I lived almost all of my life as a kid in the hills of West Virginia. As a teen, I spent three years in Papua New Guinea with my parents, who are missionaries . (You can find more about them on the page for my parents.) When I was 17, I joined the Air Force as a electronics technician. Since joining, aside from basic training and tech school, I've been stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, OH and Fairchild AFB near Spokane, WA. My enlistment to the military will officially be finished in August of 2008. I am currently enrolled at Liberty University as a Philosophy and Religion major. My greatest joy in life is knowing Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. (Check out my testimony page) My next greatest joy is being married to the most wonderful (and beautiful) woman in the world.

I have several varying interests. Growing up where I did, I spent many hours outdoors, and have a continuing love of camping and hiking. I enjoy a good political debate, as that is where some of my strongest feelings lie. I got a Ham Radio license when I was ten years old, from then on, it hasn't been uncommon to see me tinkering with with some new electronic gizmo. Near and dear to my heart are my 2nd Amendment rights, so I enjoy shooting my firearms. And I've backed those rights up as a member of the National Rifle Association.
